I've always been obsessed with pets of every kind. Something about cute furry animals makes me go weak in the knees. It could have something to do with how their tantalising tongues roll from their mouths on random occasions. Or how their wet noses affectionately nudge you when they want attention. And their adorable fur paws! OMG, I just find them so....scrummy!

Words are my second obsession. As a child, I found them fascinating. I loved writing stories and experimenting with word combinations to produce shocking effects. English lessons were always my favourite. When I was 8, I was mesmerized by the poem "An Ode To A Goldfish." So, it goes. "O wet pet." And that's it! Why do I like it so much? Because it's soooo satisfying! 3 words, 3 syllables, a perfect rhyme. O and it's about a pet!

Words are powerful. The right words make you feel. They can make you laugh or cry. They can inform, inspire, and persuade. You can feel awe or indifference. And if you're indifferent, they're not the right words for you. Cos the right words are different for different people and different audiences.
